NOTICE: With effect from 1 December 2011, reserved lots will no longer be included in the Park and Ride (P&R) scheme.
What is it?
Nobody enjoys driving during peak hour traffic. Wouldn't it be so much easier and cheaper if you could be conveniently chauffeured through all that? Well, here is our answer to that!
The Park & Ride (P&R) Scheme allows you to park your vehicle at designated car parks located near an MRT station, bus interchange or bus stop, and continue your journey hassle-free by bus, MRT or LRT.
The P&R set consists of a P&R card and a Season Parking Ticket (SPT).
The Park & Ride card can be used on buses, the MRT and LRT, while the SPT allows you to park your vehicle at designated P&R car parks.
That sounds interesting! But is my vehicle eligible for it?
Eligible vehicles for the P&R Scheme are:
- Passenger cars that are Singapore registered with prefix "E" or "S" in the registration number
- Light Goods Vehicles with registration numbers "G" or "Y", not exceeding the unladen weight of 1,500 kg and the height restriction of the multi-storey car park
Owners of light goods vehicle who wish to purchase a P&R set, must produce the Vehicle Log Card for verification.

How long is the P&R set valid for?

Will I still be able to use the Park & Ride Scheme on an ad hoc basis?
Yes, you can! For ad hoc usage, you will not need the SPT. P&R users can display a $3.00 coupon daily to park in any P&R car park during the P&R operating hours.
If you are using (different denominations) parking coupons of 50 ¢, $1.00 or $2.00 to make up $3.00, the coupons should show the same commencement time. The users should tear off all the same tabs for "year", "month", "date", "hour" and "minute" on all the coupons.
If you are parking at Park & Ride car parks using the EPS parking system, the payment will be automatically calculated and deducted from your cash card upon exit. The charges are $3.00 for parking three hours or more during the Park & Ride operating hours.
