What is it?

The TransitLink Kiosk is a self-help concession card printing machine, which enables commuters to enjoy a faster and more convenient way to apply for and collect replacement cards. The Kiosk also aims to increase the efficiency of concession card replacements.

 

 

When was the TransitLink Kiosk launched and where is it located?

The TransitLink Kiosk was launched on 20 May 2016. During the pilot trial, there will be one TransitLink Kiosk located in the Concession Card Replacement Office (CCRO) at the Buona Vista MRT Station.

What are the services available at the TransitLink Kiosk?

The TransitLink Kiosk is able to support on-the-spot application and collection of lost concession card replacements, and collection of lost concession card replacements for online and mobile applications.

Commuters can also redeem their Travel Smart Rewards and travel vouchers, purchase concession passes, and top-up their CEPAS cards at the TransitLink Kiosk.

Can I apply for or collect any type of lost concession card replacements at the TransitLink Kiosk?

You can now apply for and collect replacements for all concession card schemes at the TransitLink Kiosk. These include:

  • School Smartcard
  • Diploma Student Concession Card
  • Undergraduate Concession Card
  • PEI Student Concession Card
  • NSF Concession Card (Full-time National Serviceman)
  • PAssion Silver Concession Card / Senior Citizen Concession Card
  • Adult Monthly Travel Card
  • Persons with Disabilities Concession Card
  • Workfare Transport Concession Card

Will I incur any fees for using the TransitLink Kiosk?

There will be no additional charges incurred when using the TransitLink Kiosk. However, please note that the usual application and replacement fees are applicable for the respective concession cards.

What are the available modes of payment when applying at the TransitLink Kiosk?

The TransitLink Kiosk only accepts payment by NETs.

Can I submit an online application?

You can submit your application online by clicking HERE. Alternatively, you can also download our TransitLink Mobile Services app on Google Play or Apple App Store to submit your application.

For both application channels, you will need to provide a valid email address in order to receive the QR code / reference number for collection of the new concession card at the TransitLink Kiosk.

How do I submit my photo for the replacement concession card when applying online?

The change of photo and name on the replacement concession card is not allowed for collection at the TransitLink Kiosk. Hence, there is no need to submit photo for the replacement concession card when applying online. The new concession card will be printed with the same photo as of the original card.

When can I collect my replacement concession card if I apply online? How do I collect?

Commuters who apply for a replacement concession card online, or via our Mobile Services app, will receive a QR code / reference number for collection at the TransitLink Kiosk. Once you have received the QR code / reference number via email, you can proceed to the TransitLink Kiosk for collection. You will be required to scan the QR code or key in the reference number at the TransitLink Kiosk to have your card printed on the spot.

Can I use my replacement concession card immediately after collecting it from the TransitLink Kiosk?

Yes, you can use your new concession card immediately as it would have already been activated when it is being printed.

Can someone print or collect the replacement concession card on my behalf?

Yes, the replacement concession card can be printed or collected by another person other than the applicant.

For application of the replacement concession card at the TransitLink Kiosk, the proxy needs to have the personal details (NRIC number and date of birth) of the concession card holder to apply on his or her behalf. For collection of the replacement concession card after online or mobile app application, the applicant will have to send the QR code / reference number to his or her proxy for collection.
