Commuters to get their refund by 17 June 2011
In anticipation of the increased commuter demand on Polling Day, 7 May 2011, both SBS Transit and SMRT will be extending the operating hours of the train services.
Students, Senior Citizens and full-time NS Men, will now be able to top-up their concession cards across a network of over 1,100 DBS & POSB ATMs located islandwide.

Commuters have more reasons to celebrate this festive season as the MRT, LRT, and selected SBS Transit and SMRT bus services will be operating beyond the usual hours on Christmas Eve (Friday, 24 December 2010) and New Year's Eve (Friday, 31 December 2010)
Transit Link Pte Ltd, on behalf of the public transport operators, is pleased to announce that the following MRT, LRT and selected SBS Transit and SMRT buses will be operating beyond the usual hours during this Lunar New Year festive season.
Students accepted into Junior College and Centralised Institute this year must extend the validity of their concession cards (CEPAS-Compliant School Smartcards) by 28 February 2010, to continue enjoying concessionary bus and train fares.
