The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be extending the existing adult CBT system, to operate in parallel with the SimplyGo system.
The following groups/cards are eligible for a free CBT card:
- EZ-Link cards that were converted to SimplyGo between 9 and 22 January 2024;
- SimplyGo EZ-Link cards that were bought between 9 and 22 January 2024;
- All eligible SimplyGo Concession cards converted or issued on or before 22 January 2024;
- All who have purchased a NETS Prepaid Card between 9 and 22 January 2024.

Your Ticket to SG50 – TransitLink Launches Standard Ticket Designs for Singapore’s 50th Birthday

SINGAPORE, 15 APRIL, 2015– To celebrate Singapore’s 50th birthday with members of the public, Transit Link Pte Ltd (TransitLink) will be launching a series of SG50 Standard Ticket designs. The designs will feature historical fun facts showcasing the evolution of the public transport payment and ticketing system from the 1980s till today.

The limited edition SG50 Standard Tickets which can be purchased at selected General Ticketing Machines (GTMs) for travel on MRT and LRT trains will be rolled out in a three-part series starting from April.   

“From paper tickets to contactless travel smartcards, public transport has evolved significantly through the years. It is apt that on our nation’s Golden Jubilee year, we look back on these iconic moments while we continue to pave the way forward in public transit”, said Lee Yuen Hee, Chief Executive Officer, TransitLink Pte Ltd.
