The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be extending the existing adult CBT system, to operate in parallel with the SimplyGo system.
The following groups/cards are eligible for a free CBT card:
- EZ-Link cards that were converted to SimplyGo between 9 and 22 January 2024;
- SimplyGo EZ-Link cards that were bought between 9 and 22 January 2024;
- All eligible SimplyGo Concession cards converted or issued on or before 22 January 2024;
- All who have purchased a NETS Prepaid Card between 9 and 22 January 2024.

We have now enhanced our referral scheme to benefit more commuters! You can earn rewards when you invite your friends on board SimplyGo. Simply get them to register for a SimplyGo account using your referral code and add a contactless bank card* or SimplyGo Concession card / SimplyGo EZ-Link card to their account.

From 17 July 2023, after adding their preferred card, they just have to make at least 30 public transport trips with the added card within 30 days from the date when their card was added (down from the initial 60 public transport trips within the 30 days). Once the invited friend (the referee) has met the above criteria, both you (the referrer) and the referee will each receive a S$5 FairPrice eVoucher via the SimplyGo app inbox.

The referral code can be used by a maximum of three persons for account registration. If all three invited friends fulfil the criteria successfully, you’ll receive a total of $15 worth of eVouchers!

How to participate (existing user/referrer):

Step 1: Tap on ‘Rewards’ via the app homepage > SimplyGo Referral Scheme campaign banner to retrieve your referral code

  

Step 2: Copy and share your referral code with your friends^

Step 3: Wait for your friends to meet the criteria of making a total of 30 public transport trips within 30 days of using the eligible card linked to their account

Step 1: Download the SimplyGo app

Step 2: Input your friend’s referral code in the Sign-up page

Step 3: Ensure you’ve added a valid contactless bank card* / SimplyGo Concession card / SimplyGo EZ-Link card to your account

  

Step 4: Make a total of 30 public transport trips within 30 days using the eligible card linked to your account

Note: For those who signed up for a new SimplyGo account using a referral code but did not add a card or have added a stored value travel card (including EZ-Link Card, Concession Card and NETS FlashPay Card) before 17 July 2023, you will still be eligible for the SimplyGo Referral Scheme campaign if you add a contactless bank card* / SimplyGo Concession card / SimplyGo EZ-Link card to your account and fulfil the 30-trip criteria with effect from 17 July 2023.

How to redeem:

Once the referee has fulfilled the requirements of a total of 30 public transport trips within 30 days using the eligible card linked to their account, a S$5 FairPrice eVoucher will be sent to both you and your friend via the SimplyGo app inbox.

Alternatively, you may retrieve your eVoucher by tapping on the ‘Rewards’ tab > SimplyGo Referral Scheme campaign banner > ‘Reward’ icon. This ‘Reward’ icon will appear in the last column after the referee has fulfilled the criteria.

Firstly, the invited friend (the referee) would have to sign up for a SimplyGo account using your unique referral code and add a contactless bank card* / SimplyGo Concession card / SimplyGo EZ-Link card to their account. After which, they would then have to make at least 30 public transport trips with the added card within 30 days from the date on which their card was added.

Once the referee has met the above criteria, both you and your friend will each receive a S$5 FairPrice eVoucher via both your SimplyGo app inbox within 10 working days, from the date on which the referee hits his or her 30th trip.

Existing SimplyGo account users

For each successful referral, you can get a S$5 FairPrice eVoucher (up to a maximum of three referrals). That’s a total of S$15 worth of FairPrice eVouchers!

New SimplyGo account users

Those who sign up for a SimplyGo account using your friend’s referral code will get a S$5 eVoucher when you have fulfilled the campaign criteria. You will also receive your own unique referral code, which you can share with friends who have yet to sign up for a SimplyGo account and receive a S$5 FairPrice eVoucher for each successful referral, up to a maximum of three. This means that you could get a total of $20 worth of eVouchers.

Note: Those who sign up for a SimplyGo account without entering any referral code / via the SimplyGo Portal will not be eligible for the initial S$5 eVoucher reward. However, you will still stand to receive S$15 worth of eVouchers when you make a maximum of three successful referrals.

You may wish to check your transaction history via the SimplyGo app to track the number of SimplyGo trips that you have made with the contactless bank card*, SimplyGo Concession card or SimplyGo EZ-Link card within 30 days, starting from the date on which your card was added.
